It started with a promise.
When Varsay’s mother and aunt set out to renovate their childhood home in Liberia, they ran into the same challenge many in the diaspora face unreliable contractors who overcharge, underdeliver, and disappear when things go wrong.
Trying to manage it all from the U.S. was nearly impossible. Their experience brought back Varsay’s own frustration years earlier, when his general contractor in Liberia inflated quotes, hired poor subcontractors, and left behind unfinished work. When confronted, the man vanished taking the money and the trust with him.
That’s when Varsay decided no one else should have to go through that. Partnering with Jo Kalapele, a U.S.-licensed engineer with deep ties to Liberia, he founded Bridgeport Property Services a company built on integrity, accountability, and professional excellence.
Today, Bridgeport provides property owners from the diaspora to local investors with dependable, transparent, and tech-enabled property care. We manage maintenance, renovations, inspections, and landscaping with the same level of trust and professionalism expected anywhere in the world.
